EVOLUTION OF THE SPECIES
Ever since it was first introduced, the SR has been the preferred scooter
of the Aprilia Racing Team, and is used extensively at trials and race meetings
to get quickly between pit lane and the paddock. Aprilia’s top riders
can also be seen riding their SRs around town in total freedom. Just like
you.
Aprilia’s SR 50 has set the pace for scooter technology ever since it
was introduced in 1992. With the SR 50, Aprilia was the first manufacturer
to offer a real sports scooter, creating a whole new market segment. Despite
numerous attempts by the competition over the years, the SR 50 has remained
